Happy Earth Day! To me, Earth Day means that is a day we can give back to our environment. I don't recall ever participating in an actual event for Earth Day, I have done stuff for our environment, but not on Earth Day. Earth day was founded by Senator Gaylord Nelson in 1970 to promote ecology. Earth Day occurs during the time of the March equinox. Earth Day Networks estimates that 500 million people from 4,500 organizations in 180 countries will participate in Earth Day, in some way, shape, or form. On Earth Day, you can plant trees, recycle, donate to garage sales, clean up litter, ride your bike, and learn more about the earth and what you can do to help.
